so I just kinda wanna share something thats been on my mind lately:

I just got back from church and no joke spent the entire 15 minutes thinking about how i wanted to say what I want to share.  For those of you who weren't at sr high...the service was really convicting; however it was the worship afterwards that really put me over the edge.  For whatever reason God used a song that I've never really considered one of my favorite worship songs to speak to me with.  In the song "Search Me" there is a line that says: "Your hands catch my tears when I'm crying, You guide me and hold me in your hands"  Although I have probably heard this song a billion times, the lyrics never really hit home until tonight.  I spent a lot of today in tears over some things and when I wasn't crying I was just thinking about when I was.  I came to the conclusion that I was serving man rather than God.  I was doing everything in my power to find my worth in what others thought of me and trying to measure up to their standards however this should not be the case.  I should look to God above all else and realize that no matter happens or whatever I am struggling with he has an ultimate and perfect plan for my life.  The whole time I was crying to today he was there to catch my tears and comfort me.  Just knowing that gives me such a peaceful feeling even if the things I struggle with are still not resolved.

Sorry if that sounded like really depressing...honestly I'm ok but I really just felt like i wanted to share that with yall.

hey guys! how is everyone?

well all is good here...tennis season has started again and i'm convinced tennis season is the best part of the year. girls are still undefeated(knock on wood...)although yesterday was our only region match so far. guys are doing awesome too!

so 3-days weekends are the best too...i went to the zoo today. i can't remember the last time i went to the zoo but it was pretty fun to hang out with my cousins too.
